On Friday, December 13, join Jefferson Boyer of the Smithsburg Historical Society and learn how a Smithsburg storekeeper’s advertising poster from 1856 leads to understanding how general stores were community “hubs” in the pre-Civil War era.
This month’s cocktail is the Hot Apple Toddy, the perfect drink to keep you warm during the holiday season. Doors open at 5:30 PM and light hors d’oeuvres will be served!
