Our 1825 townhouse and genealogy library are open to visitors conducting family history research, students and teachers exploring the past through historic lenses, and curiosity seekers desiring more information about the heritage of the county and beyond.

The Miller House Museum and kinship Family Heritage Research Center are located in the heart of downtown Hagerstown, Maryland, only a short drive from Antietam National Battlefield, C&O Canal National Historic Park, Fort Frederick State Park, and Catoctin Mountain Park.

MUSEUM AND LIBRARY HOURS

Guided tours are offered year-round, except for holidays. Tours start at the beginning of the hour from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Each tour takes approximately 45-50 minutes. Pre-scheduling tours is welcomed but not required.
