Culture & Cocktails: The Two Emilie Lawrence Reeds of Blue Ridge Summit
Washington County Historical Society 135 W. Washington Street, HagerstownOn Friday, October 10, join genealogist Pam Anderson as she presents, "The Two Emilie Lawrence Reeds of Blue Ridge Summit." Celebrate Family History Month this October by attending this C&C with Pam Anderson of Anderson CoGen Collaborative Genealogy Services, as she presents on the lives of two women, both named Emilie Reed, who were connected to U.S. Army physician Dr. Walter Reed. Dr. Reed owned the historical Washington County home, Keewaydin, on Blue Ridge Summit. This month’s cocktail is the Tom Collins, a late-19th century gin-based drink.
