February 11 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The Underground Railroad was a network of secret routes and safe houses established in the United States during the early to mid-19th century. It was used by enslaved African Americans primarily to escape into free states and Canada.
On Friday, February 11th, join us in welcoming Dr. Emily Amt for an exploration into Washington County’s role in the Underground Railroad, including the local agents, daring escapes, and notable locations associated with this fascinating history. The featured cocktail will be: The Hot Toddy! A Soothing Winter concoction, the Hot Toddy is perfect for a chilly winter night.
