From those abandoned to the ones brought back to life, Washington County has a hidden treasure trove of historic schoolhouses waiting to be discovered!

On Friday, August 11, join Henry Recker, a Smithsburg Middle School student, who will showcase Washington County’s historic schoolhouses. The talk will feature photographs taken by Henry and from the WCHS archives.

This month’s drink is the Roaring Rob Roy, a cocktail for Scotch lovers and enjoyers. Doors open at 5:30 PM and light hors d’ oeuvres will be served!
