DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday\, March 13\, 2026\, from 6:00-8:00 PM\, as local clock specialist Ray Snouffer returns to the Miller House to share “From Ashes to Singing Again: The Restoration of an Early Miniature Singing Bird Box.” \n\n\n\nThis fascinating talk explores the nearly 1000-hour restoration process of a miniature singing bird box from the early 1870s\, which had been nearly destroyed in a fire\, leaving only the clockwork portion. Ray Snouffer shares his process and challenges behind restoring the beautiful singing box\, including the lessons he learned along the way as a horologist and restorer of antique time pieces. \n\n\n\nCulture & Cocktails is generously sponsored by the James & Mary Schurz Foundation. C&C is held on the second Friday of each month from 6:00-8:00 PM. Doors open at 5:30 PM.
