Culture & Cocktails: Maryland History through the Lens of Alcohol
January 10, 2020 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Enjoy a drink and have a think! At Culture & Cocktails, a lecture program at the Miller House Museum, we tackle a historical topic with the help of a little liquid fortitude.
In January, Kyle Dalton of the National Museum of Civil War Medicine will be joining us for a peculiar look at Maryland history – through the lens of alcohol! Production of alcohol has been a vital industry in Maryland from its earliest days. Join us and learn more about its impact on the history of our state!
The featured cocktail will be: the Black-Eyed Susan. This delicious fruity beverage is a staple of the Preakness Stakes, and truly a Maryland cocktail!
Your ticket price will include your first drink, and refills will be available for a small fee. This event is for adults ages 21 and older, please! For more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Culture & Cocktails 2020 has been made possible by the generous support of Schurz Communications.
